The HUMANiTREE Documentary

One planet, one human race and so many problems. The HUMANiTREE is a 90 minute documentary that is the most up to date film on humanities collective story on earth. It explains the evidence of human origins in Africa, and how black people spread across the globe seeding civilisations before we became so many different ethnicities. 8 young people from south Wales worked alongside a professional film crew to embark on an incredible journey of research and investigation. Their adventure dispelled ignorance and revealed exclusive interviews with experts from multiple scientific disciplines, such as genetics, environment, anthropology as well as history and sociology. Using state-of-the-art AI digital art and sound design alongside incredible footage from around the world, the HUMANiTREE embarks on chapters of the human family tree.Urban Circle & Black Nine Films Director & Narrator - Nuakai AruExecutive Producers - Loren Henry & Masooma Ali Creative Producers - Mohamad Miah & Onismo Muhlanga

Quilted Hands Poem - WAW Film

Coffee and Laughs is a wonderful charity and friendship group for women of all ages, faiths and cultures in Community House, Maindee. When Community House closed, the group still kept in contact with calls and zoom each week to connect, share their stories and art online to express themselves creatively to help isolation while supporting their wellbeing.
A community quilt was created in response, fusing art, textiles and poetry. Each piece of hand textile art was created at home by different women in the group and then brought together hand stitched.
‘This was a wonderful way to share the story of Coffee and Laughs and how we connect together, women from different faiths and cultures, what we can learn from each other.
