Reggae & Riddim Festival 2022 is an authentic reggae culture festival for the whole family. A unified festival of Wales’ Award winning Youth Arts & Advocacy Charity alongside partnership with the Rastafari Indigenous Village and the Irits Alliance Festival of Montego Bay Jamaica
A rich sharing of two days of artistic attraction presenting the cultural heritage of Jamaica and Wales through music, food, art, dance, fashion, wellness & sacred knowledge. Shared from inside a beautiful Welsh setting for the love of community, learning and healing.
Reggae & Riddim Festival – Global, is like no other, it is created by the people for the people to strengthen identity, community, peace and One Love across geographical distance and cultural differences. We highlighted Jamaica’s 60 years of independence and the contribution of Caribbean culture to our communities in Wales.Globally as the UK’s first officially endorsed event!
After the success of ‘Wales Untold’ Documentary- members of Urban Circle Newport began the process of creating a secondary documentary that will lead on from the 2015 success; it will focus on Wales as well as expanding both nationally and internationally.

Our new documentary took the journey to analyse the study of genetics, African race and human migrations. Here our team of incredible creatives share their experience within the process of producing The HUMANiTREE over the span of 2 years.
A collaboration between music artist Thalia Ellice Richardson (Aka E11ICE) and dance theatre company Kitsch & Sync Collective, exploring the theme of habitat and our internal and external worlds, with lyrics inspired by life experience and the change music, art and self-expression can inspire within us.
